Funeral Potatoes

I acquired this recipe from a dear friend, Nicole, and her family. It has become one of my favorites, and I am glad they shared the goodness with me!

2 lbs frozen hash browns
2 c sour cream
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c margarine
26 oz can Cream of Chicken soup
2 c grated cheddar cheese
1 medium onion chopped fine
2 c corn flakes, crushed


Saute onion in margarine. Mix all the ingredients except the corn flakes together and pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle crushed corn flakes on top. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
