blessed

can i just say how blessed america is? how could anyone think that we have life hard here? we have:

running water
scratch the first...CLEAN running water
furniture to sit on
food to eat
cars to drive
heated homes AND homes with A/C
green grass
the gospel
a close grab to almost ANY kind of technology
CLEAN hospitals

ever since i got back from thailand, i can't stop thinking about the people over there and the circumstances that some live in. some of the things we are blessed with on a daily basis are unheard to some. it's mind blowing. i don't think people stop and think often enough about how blessed we truly are. yeah, we DEFINITELY have our bumps in the road, but you COULD: be living on the side of the road, have no car, live in a tin shack, eat off the floor, not even know what grass IS, drive 30 minutes JUST to get to church on sunday, not be able to find proper medical assitance. really? what do we have to complain about? and the thing is, the people just. don't. care. they are SO humble. they would give up meals for 2 weeks to feed a visitor. are any of us really THAT committed? no, im not a hippie...im just saying. america is so blessed, i love thailand, & i love the thai people.
