Grandma's Banana Bread

My FAVORITE banana bread. I always like making mini loaves. Maybe it's because they cook faster, and they are easier to take on the go. Either way, this is a family recipe that I love.

1 ½ cup sugar
½ cup margarine
3 cups flour
1 cup sour milk (buttermilk, lemon juice in milk)
1 tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp baking soda
1 cup mashed bananas
2 tsp vanilla
½ tsp cinnamon


Blend sugar and margarine; add flour, salt, and mashed bananas. Add milk and baking soda, then vanilla and cinnamon. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
